This here is going to be a very picture filled post, so sorry in advance!
I recently have fallen in love with the Memory Files from Heidi Swapp. When they first came out I wasn’t too sure what to think about them. It wasn’t really my kind of scrapbooking. But then I saw mini albums being made with them and I was hooked. This is my third book using this system and I love, love, LOVE it!
I made this for my oldest daughter to document the fun things she has done with her friends this school year. There are some blank pages and empty spaces so that she can add more pictures and her own journaling.
This particular album was made with a mini file (7″ x 8.75″) as the base and the coordinating patterned paper from the Serendipity collection.
I really like all of the different elements that coordinate with these papers, whether it be the Clear pop tags, the Banner delights, or the Window Frames.
For the last month, Heidi and her design team have been showing examples of some beautiful albums and they are so inspiring to look at!
In this album I used the Bind-It-All, but I have recently bought a Cinch machine and am excited to see how it compares.
The sentiments stamped here and there throughout are from Market Street Stamps. The are bigger and I thought the typography was perfect for this project!
On the page below, I made a pocket out of the picture and made a tag that will slide in and out in order for her to add more journaling.
Please don’t be afraid to ask any questions!
Also, Don’t forget about the giveaway I have going on this week in honor of the new blog. Comment all week long, and on Saturday I will choose a winner.
