Hello!! It is so great to see you back here. I hope that the start to your fall season has been going well. Mine, of course has been crazy busy as usual. We have volleyball, soccer and religion classes for the youngest; swim and physical therapy appointments for the oldest, plus add on all of the other activities in our lives, it’s pretty much non-stop go, go, go.
Today I am sharing a pocket page I made using elements from the On Cherry Street Magical kit by Sweet Stamp Shop. I can’t tell you how much this kit speaks to me.
I had such a fun time putting this layout together. If you have followed along with me for any amount of time, you will have noticed that I am not one to really scrap about myself, or even my hubby. It was great to finally make one that was about us as a couple.
I just lined up the slip of paper to where I wanted it to go and, viola! Perfect banner!
On the yellow striped ombre card, I punched stars along the edge with a border punch. I then colored a scrap piece of paper with the same Distress Stain as above and then glued it to the under side of the card. That way, my metallics all matched.
From that same strip of paper that I used for the above card, I punched stars out of it, using the same star border punch, in order to use as bullet points on the card below. Since the year is not quite finished yet, I left a little bit of space to be able to add a couple more milestones if/when needed.
Well, I hope to have inspired you, if just a little bit. Please let me know what is your favorite element to this layout! I would love to hear from you. 🙂
