Hello! Just this past weekend we celebrated my oldest girl’s 17th birthday. I can’t believe that we are to this point already! I know life is just a short ride, but I really wish we could play some of these parts in slow motion. Especially when it comes to our babies growing older.
Well, here is the card that I made for her.
The background was made by using embossing paste, gelatos and a stencil. Stay tuned later this week when I share how exactly I make these backgrounds!
The balloons were stamped using the Hero Arts Ombre peach ink pad. If you haven’t seen these ink pads before, they are just so cool! The gradual change from light to dark turns out so beautifully. Make sure when inking the stamp, that you move slightly up and down on the pad to get the lines blended well.
For the balloon strings, I simply cut some Gold Shimmer twine, knotted the end and adhered it to the back of the balloons.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and I look forward to seeing you later this week!
