Hello! Today I am sharing a quick and easy (though a little time consuming) home decor project using The Twinery’s brand new addition, Firecracker.
I’ve had this idea rolling around my head ever since Nicole gave us (the design team) a little sneaky peak at the new twine.
The project I am making is using a 8″ x 8″ shadow box frame.
I started out by using an 8″ x 8″ piece of paper and made some markings an inch in on all sides, giving me a perimeter to know where to keep the twine.
I used an adhesive roller to stick the twine down on an angle.
This is the part that took me a good while to do.
When done with that, I cut a star shape out at 5″, centering it on another 8″ x 8″ piece of paper using my die cut machine. I used foam tape in the corners and around the star to pop it up a little bit.
I really like how lining up the Firecracker twine next to each other gave it an ikkat look.
