Hello and welcome! I’m here with you again, sharing a summer project and a free set of 3×4 printables.
I first got this idea because my daughters are often at a local beach here, enjoying the fun and sun during their summer break. I have a checklist for them of all of the items that they should have along, and with them being teenage girls, sometimes I get that magical eye roll as I am naming things before they head out the door. 🙂
What better way than to put the items together myself in a handy dandy box and tote to make it super easy. And then, why not make it cute at the same time?
Using Mandarin, Midnight Blue and Caribbean twines, I wrapped up the top of the box a couple of times and made some knots. Nothing super fancy, but still adding a punch of fun! I also designed some free beach printables to go along with the box as a nice little label. Though they are 3×4 cards that can be used in all different kinds of projects, they worked great as a label for the box too.
Here is a close up view of the items that I put in the box, including sunblock, face block, a mini first aid kit, lip balm, facial tissues, a mini deodorant, ibuprofen, and hand sanitizer.
To go along with the beach box, I also packed a few other essentials to make it real easy to just grab and go.
The free printable also coordinates with the following twines: Shore, Cappuccino, Solid Cappuccino, Flax, Solid Natural and Gold Shimmer. I happened to choose the other colors above, not because they coordinated with the printable, but with the tote instead.
Well, I hope you enjoyed today’s quick post and freebie! Please let us know how you used the printable or if you made your very on Beach Box. You can share here on this post, our Facebook page, or simple tag us in Instagram using @thetwinery.
