Hello! I am so excited to be here today and share with you something extra special this month!! I am guest designing for this month’s On Cherry Street kit made by the super lovable Sweet Stamp Shop and today is release day for their Ahoy! kit.
If you haven’t heard of these kits yet (they just started last month), you are in for a treat! Make sure to stop by their blog today for a bunch more projects from some pretty amazing designers and to check out all of the important deets about these kits.
Before I jump into showing you what I created I just want to a couple of my favorite reasons why I absolutely love these kits:
1. They are freaking adorable!!!
2. They require NO SUBSCRIPTION!!!
3. I am not left with tons of product that I will get tired of using.
4. I am a very simple scrapbooker. My pages do not hold a lot of product and I like my pictures to shine, because lets face it, the subjects are so darn cute that I don’t want to detract from the real reason I am making these books. And these kits are just the right size to get a couple 12×12 spreads done or several 6×8 spreads, plus left over to make other projects too (like cards, which are my main focus)!
Okay, so with that being said here is what I have made for today’s eye candy:
In addition to the Ahoy! kit, I also used the Happy Birthday (my personal fave!!) and Beach Bum stamp sets.
Aren’t these wood embellishments adorable?!?
And who wouldn’t want to invited to a campfire with this sweet invitation?
On this card I used the Campout (I really, really heart that fire!) and Monogram Alphabet in addition to a 3×4 card from the kit.
Well, I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and I can’t wait to share more later this week! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
